The 1st Annual Dog Show At
Lighthouse Point Yacht Club
Was A Real Success!

The old expression “When it rains it pours” certainly applied to the October 17th event at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club. Approximately thirty minutes before the Dog Show was about to start a major downpour came in with our first cold front of the year. For most people the rain could have ruined the day but the management at the Yacht club wouldn’t let that happen to all their guests. They quickly moved the event indoors to the Commodore Room where approximately 80 guests and their beloved best friends showed up. And, the best part is the event was great. Everyone had a good time and the dogs couldn’t have had better behavior if they were professionals. Kudo’s to all the dog moms and dads who turned out. To our knowledge there wasn’t one tiny little accident as the dogs mingled among guests and competed for the various categories of the day.
