We are publishers, artists, photographers, fashion experts and animal lovers. We have been a family owned and operated business for over 30 years.

Roberta Backus has always been active in rescuing pets and served as the Public Relations Chair for the Zoological Society of Florida annual Feast with The Beasts event for over 10 years.

Larry Turner has also been active in rescuing pets and served as President of the Zoological Society of Florida.

Rene Mahfood, also a pet owner, graduated in Fashion Design from Miami’s hottest fashion college and enjoys putting her fashion ideas to work for our new retail store.

We started Kilo and Kola’s boutique for fun and for a good cause. We want to provide pet owners with good quality products that are not only unique but also fairly priced.
A portion of everything we sell will go to help homeless pets.
